I confirm that I am at least 18-years old.
I understand that the personal information that I have given to the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) is for establishing and maintaining my membership with RAC and its Chapters. I understand that my membership information may be used to validate my membership status with key stakeholders: such as insurance providers. It may also be used to carry out RAC’s legal obligations under the Canadian Not-For-Profit Act.
I understand that my information will not be used for any other purpose or shared with other parties without my express permission.
As a RAC member:
I agree to promote and adhere to the principles and objectives of the Association as set forth in its By-Laws, Scope of Practice, Code of Conduct & Ethics, and Standards of Practice.
I agree to pay a late fee of $50 (or the current late fee set by the Association) if I do not renew my membership within sixty (60) days of my invoice date.
I also agree that if I do not renew my membership within six (6) months of my membership expiration date, my membership will lapse. At that time, to bring my membership to current status, I will have to pay a rejoining fee of $75 (plus GST/HST) (or the re-join fee set by the Association), and a pro-rated associate membership fee (plus GST/HST).
I understand that Associate Members do not have any continuing education requirements.
I understand that I may remain an Associate Member indefinitely; however, should I choose to start practicing reflexology for compensation either financially or in kind, and specifically, issuing reflexology receipts, I agree to change my RAC membership status from Associate to Professional and pay any difference in fees.
If I was never a Professional Member with RAC prior to becoming an Associate Member, I understand that I will have to take the RCRT™ Exam (passing both its written and practical components) to become a Professional Member.
If I was previously a Professional Member, I understand that to become a Professional Member once again, my continuing education records and requirements from the time I became an Associate Member until the current date will apply. I further understand that at the time of upgrading my membership, I will need to submit any outstanding continuing education obligations from before and during the time I was an Associate Member. If I am unable to submit my outstanding continuing education requirements, or I have been an Associate Member for more than three (3) years, I understand that I may be required to take the RCRT™ Exam (passing both its written and practical components) to become a Professional Member once again.
I understand and agree that membership fees are non-refundable.
