The Next Chapter

There is something about late summer that feels like a reset.

Calendars begin filling again. Clients return from holidays. New routines take shape. And after an extraordinary year of celebrating RAC’s 50th anniversary, we find ourselves asking an exciting question:

This issue of REFRESH is really about that question.

Our 50th Anniversary Conference gave us a chance to reconnect, learn, laugh, exchange ideas and celebrate how far reflexology has come in Canada. But anniversaries are not only about looking back. They remind us that every generation inherits something and then decides what to do with it.

You’ll meet RAC’s new National Board, whose members bring different experiences, regions and perspectives to the table. You’ll see RAC and members showing up in communities and national conversations. You’ll find practical ideas for making the most of health fairs, protecting yourself from online scams, handling requests for client records, and continuing your professional learning.

And as fall approaches, membership renewal season will soon follow in October. It is another small reminder that a professional community is something we build and sustain together.

This issue also pauses to remember Jean Louis Dubé, whose leadership, teaching and commitment helped shape the profession we know today. His contribution is part of the foundation on which the next chapter is being written.
