Lead the Future of Reflexology in Canada

Join RAC’s National Board of Directors in 2026

RAC is growing. So is the opportunity to shape what comes next.

As the national voice of reflexology therapy in Canada, RAC depends on thoughtful leaders who care about the profession and the people within it. Our Board of Directors helps guide strategy, uphold standards, and ensure the long-term strength of the Association.

If you believe in the value of reflexology therapy and want to contribute beyond your own practice, we invite you to consider serving on RAC’s National Board.

You do not need to have served before. You do not need to have all the answers. You do need a commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and the future of the profession.

Why Serve on the National Board?

As a Board member, you will:

  • 🔸 Help shape the national direction of reflexology therapy
  • 🔸 Contribute to governance, standards, and long-term planning
  • 🔸 Strengthen your leadership and decision-making skills
  • 🔸 Connect with colleagues across Canada
  • 🔸 Support the credibility and recognition of reflexology therapists nationwide

RAC advances because members choose to step forward.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome individuals who:

Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment

Care about the future of reflexology in Canada

Are willing to think strategically and contribute respectfully

Bring experience in leadership, governance, finance, law, policy, communications, or strategy. Experience is an asset, not a requirement.

Diverse backgrounds and perspectives strengthen our Board. If you are unsure whether you are “qualified,” we encourage you to reach out and explore the conversation.

Board Directors focus on oversight, governance, and strategic direction of the Association, not day-to-day operations.

Board Composition

The majority of Directors must be RAC members in good standing.

RAC may appoint up to two non-members to strengthen governance capacity and bring valuable external expertise.

We value representation from across provinces, practice settings, and professional experiences.

Directors are expected to:

  • 🔸 Attend and participate in regular Board meetings
  • 🔸 Serve on at least one committee or portfolio
  • 🔸 Review materials and contribute to informed discussion
  • 🔸 Attend the Annual General Meeting
  • 🔸 Uphold fiduciary and ethical responsibilities

Board service requires preparation and engagement, but meetings are virtual and structured to support volunteer leaders with busy professional lives.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • 🔸 Be a member in good standing with RAC (unless applying as one of the two permitted non-member positions)
  • 🔸 Meet eligibility requirements outlined in RAC’s Bylaws
  • 🔸 Demonstrate alignment with RAC’s mission and values
